We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Plant Head – Rice Mill to manage and oversee the complete operations of a rice milling plant.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, plant operations, quality control, manpower management, maintenance coordination, inventory, cost control, and overall plant efficiency.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in rice mill operations and the ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the overall operations of the rice milling plant.
- Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities to achieve targets.
- Ensure efficient utilization of paddy, machinery, manpower, and other resources.
- Monitor the complete rice milling process, including paddy handling, drying, milling, grading, polishing, sorting, and packing.
- Maintain consistent production quality and process efficiency as per company standards.
- Supervise plant employees, operators, technicians, supervisors, and contract manpower.
- Allocate manpower effectively across different plant operations and shifts.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure smooth functioning of plant machinery and equipment.
- Identify operational issues, machine breakdowns, and production bottlenecks and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor raw material consumption, production yield, wastage, and recovery.
- Maintain proper records and reports related to production, inventory, manpower, maintenance, and plant performance.
- Ensure effective inventory management of paddy, finished goods, packing materials, and consumables.
- Coordinate with purchase, quality, warehouse, dispatch, and management teams for smooth operations.
- Implement measures for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and reduction of operational wastage.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and food-processing standards.
- Monitor finished product quality and coordinate with the quality team to maintain required specifications.
- Handle shift planning and ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Prepare and submit regular MIS and operational reports to senior management.

Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline is required.
- Additional qualification or technical knowledge in Food Technology, Mechanical, Agriculture, Production, or related fields will be an added advantage.
