Job Title: Project Manager – Civil

Job Summary:
The Project Manager – Civil will oversee and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating all activities related to the project to ensure it is completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements and specifications.
- Prepared and presented project proposals and feasibility studies to senior management and clients.
- Project Execution:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of civil engineering projects, including site preparation, construction, and installation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Budget Management:
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and make adjustments as needed to stay within financial constraints.
- Approve and process invoices, change orders, and other financial documents.
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, site managers, and other project staff.
- Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, status updates, and final project documentation.
- Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
- Address any issues or defects that arise during the construction process.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project.
- Monitor and respond to any unforeseen challenges or delays.
- Ensure that all health and safety protocols are strictly followed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on civil engineering projects.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Salary: Up To 12 Lakh PM
