Roles and Responsibilities
1) Job Purpose
To manage and drive business and branch profitability for Broking and 3rd party products Sales by achieving business growth, revenues, brand differentiation & client satisfaction through effective client acquisition & product sales and service. The product portfolio includes broking products & services and other investment products like mutual funds, life insurance, general insurance, fixed deposits & bonds.
# To maximize branch profits by achieving targeted fee income & effective cost management
# To effectively deploy schemes & prioritize sales of high revenue products
# To plan and execute various local level initiatives to ensure business momentum and direction
# To monitor individual and team performance and take steps to improve productivity and correct deviations if any
# To handle a team of Dealers, Relationship managers and Back office executives and motivate them in target achievements
# To manage operations, broking and other product sales, customer service, and risk management in the branch
# To monitor client servicing metrics, develop relationship marketing programs & motivate SMs & channel partners to display highest levels of client servicing standards
# To send periodic reports to HO for market share analytics for different product lines, sales volume & fee income, new product launches, new clients, new channel partner/cross-sell tie-ups & changes/improvement in business plans
# To ensure security of the physical assets of the branch
# To oversee and ensure adherence to the Risk compliance and Statutory compliance policies
# To set and monitor process for client acquisition and institutionalize cross selling of financial products
# To plan and execute local area programs and referrals programs for new client acquisition
# To disseminate research based advisory services to clients based on recommendations given by In-house Research team.
# To engage in new and innovative business planning activities locally to increase client acquisition and Branch profitability
# To focus on retention of customers , higher revenue generation and referral activities
# To continuously scan the local market penetration & competitive offerings & report on emerging trends for different product lines
# To ensure proper implementation and usage of Lead management system (LMS) & IMS at the branch in coordination with HO team
# To ensure client records are up to date in terms of financial details & contactability and run data analytics on them on periodic basis
# To ensure speedy resolution of client queries and grievances to maximize satisfaction levels
# To ensure acquisition of margin trade funding ( MTF) and trader customers with necessary margins
# To continuously scan the local market penetration & competitive offerings & report on emerging trends for different product lines
# To regularly attend trainings and learn about the alternate products offered and ensure all branch employees attend training & are aware of alternate products
# To increase business through cross-selling initiatives & innovative product mixes
# To use alternate products to activate inactive customers
# To ensure adherence of all regulatory compliances & critical policies set by HO
# To ensure that requisite product & behavioral trainings are imparted in the branches in conjunction with the HR dept
a) Dealers: To punch equity deals for clients as per their requirements, to disseminate research recommendations to clients and ensuring compliance and regulatory standards are met.
b) Relationship Managers: To increase the business & profitability by marketing / selling targeted financial products and services to the customers, creating new clients by effective networking and promoting product propositions & retaining clients by strong customer relationship management
c) Back Office Executives: To foster enhancement of brand value & customer satisfaction by effective client servicing & relationship management
Desired Candidate Profile
# Currently must be managing a team in any leading stock broking co.
# Handling a team of Retail Sales/PCG/HNI in Stock Market or Mutual Funds
# High level of knowledge in stock market.
# Excellent personality and a team management skill.
